Insurance carrier Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee has made a 250-thousand dollar donation to the new Kingsport Dental Clinic. of the Appalachian Highlands. The check was presented to the University of Tennessee and city officials. The donation comes after Delta Dental made a similar donation of $250,000 in August. The donated money from Blue Cross will be used to purchase equipment. Officials announced last year plans for a dental clinic in an existing building on West Sevier Avenue.
