The Greeneville Energy Authority connected its first customer to its new broadband internet network, GEA Connect.Phil Bradley, GEA director of broadband and IT, previously called the first customer a “friendly customer” or a “tester.” Since the broadband connection is still under construction Bradley says approximately 50 more testers will be tapped before the network is fully open to the public.
