A Hawkins County man did it ands is back home after hiking the entire Appalachian Trail. 56 year old Charles Grubb finished the journey on his 56th birthday that he began in 2012.The trail is about 2,200 miles and spans up and down the East Coast. As for advice to the next hike would be to get up north quicker and Grubb says he may have been able to complete his accomplishment in five years instead of eleven.
