Johnson City Schools Composite Score

For the third year in a row, Johnson City Schools earned a Level 5 composite score on the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS), according to data that was released by the Tennessee Department of Education.Additionally, seven individual schools earned Level 5 distinctions. Those schools included Science Hill High School, Indian Trail Middle School, Liberty Bell Middle School, Cherokee Elementary, North Side Elementary, South Side Elementary, Woodland Elementary.Johnson City Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Barnett says“This recognition of our district and schools by the Tennessee Department of Education validates the work of our students and teachers.”
