A former Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Nicholas Collins was found not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of several other charges. Court clerks tell news outlets Collins was found not guilty of attempted second-degree murder in Sullivan County Criminal Court. Collins was found guilty of the following:Domestic assaultAssault-bodily injury (2 counts)Aggravated domestic assaultVandalism $2,500-$10,000Harassment Collins is set to be sentenced on Nov. 9. He will remain in jail until his sentencing.
