A closely watched trial is underway for one of two people charged in the shooting death of a man outside the Bristol, Tennessee Walmart. 43 year old Michael Strouth is facing a first-degree murder charge in the September 2017 death of Michael Heatherly.Michael Heatherly was the ex-husband of Strouth’s wife.According to court documents, Michael and Ashley Strouth purchased a rifle, ammo and a lead sled in the killing of Heatherly and researched the internet on ways to avoid detection and apprehension following the murder.
