A new Greeneville Fire Department engine will soon be answering calls in the community that was a demonstration unit that became available to purchase. The 2023 Sutphen rescue pumper adds needed utility to the fire department’s inventory, says Chief Alan Shipley.The fire department took delivery of the rescue pumper engine July 31. He says the demand for good used engines is very high. The demo unit became available when another department had to pull out of the purchase,” according to Shipley.
