The first week of July marks the first official week on the job for Chuck Carter, the new director of schools for Sullivan County. He replaces outgoing director of schools, Evelyn Rafalowski.Before taking on the role, Carter spent the past few months getting acclimated to the school system, touring different buildings and meeting with administrators, teachers and students.
