The number of boating fatalities across Tennessee increased last year from 21 to 29, according to state records. Overall, the number of incidents with fatalities and injuries decreased from 145 to 134, state records show.Within Sullivan County, there were four recorded boating incidents recorded on South Holston Lake, River and the Holston River. Once incident was recorded in Hawkins County. And there was one fataility each in Sullivan and Hawkins counties.
