Dollar General is helping with literacy by awarding grants totaling more than $2 million to improve literacy in Virginia and Tennessee.The grants are part of more than $13 million awarded to support literacy and education programs in the 47 states where Dollar General operates, as the company celebrates its 30th anniversary.Funds will be distributed to nonprofits, libraries and schools across the two states.
