A catalytic converter theft in Johnson City when police arrested a man, Jonathon Scott Wednesday on charges of theft over $1,000.According to investigators, police were responding to a report theft that occurred at Factory Direct Furniture.They say, Scott cut a moving truck’s catalytic converter off which was valued to be over $1,000.He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
