The Greene County sheriff’s office is warning the public about another phone scam. Someone is calling claiming to be from the sheriff’s office and asking for money. Sheriff Wesley Holt says citizens have reported reeiving calls from someone claiming they’ve missed a court date and insist the person send money to avoid being arrested, which isn’t true.
