Weather conditions are somewhat to blame for a lost hiker for several hours along the Appalachian Trail Friday evening. According the Carter County Rescue Squad, the incident happened in the Jane Bald area of Roan Mountain.The CCRS says they received a call from the hiker Friday evening requesting help, after they say he came disoriented. Weather conditions at the time were extremely foggy with blowing winds.
