A historical feature, the Covered Bridge Park in Elizabethton, Tennessee is set for some new improvements in the future.Elizabethton’s Park and Recreation Department has received a grant from the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation for $625,000.The city plans to match the grant, making the total funds for the upgrades a total of $1.25 million.Renovations include the bridge itself, new bathrooms and a new pavilion.
