Due in part to the efforts of Senator Jon Lundberg in Bristol all members of the Tennessee Senate Education Committee voted unanimously to ban the popular app TikTok on state college and university campuses.The law, SB0834, prohibits campus internet networks from “providing access” to any video platform owned by a company headquartered outside the United States.A spokesperson for Gov. Lee said, “the governor believes this is an important issue and expects to sign the bill if it reaches his desk.”
