Unfortunately the body found in a Greene County cornfield is identified by the Greeneville Police Department as missing juvenile, Danielle Owens. The investigation continues by multiple agencies including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. According to a release from the Greeneville Police Department, police responded to the 300 Block of Doughtys Chapel Road in reference to a body located in a field. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the body of Ownes in the middle of the field.
