At a cost of 5-7 million dollars there’s a vision for a new fire station near downtown Kingsport.The city is now looking at building a brand new fire station on Fort Henry Drive.”It’s potentially shovel ready,” Kingsport Fire Chief Scotty Boyd said. “Pull it off the shelf and we’re ready to go on this particular project.
