The Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society Adoption Center on Hal Henard Road is closed to the public Tuesday after an electrical wiring overload Monday caused a small electrical fire and smoke spread into the facility, said Janet Medcalf, shelter manager.No people or animals were harmed, Medcalf said. Officials say the shelter’s heating units were not damaged and were working properly to keep the animals warm says Medcalf.
