Greene County, Tusculum, and Greeneville have been awarded a $100,000 economic development grant.The money will fund site studies on a 336-acre piece of land behind the old Greene Valley Development Center. The goal is to start a business park and then Tennessee plans to start a new college of applied technology at the old Greene Valley.”This represents probably the largest, most solid step forward for our entire community,” Greene County Mayor Kevin Morrison said.
