Students with childcare expenses are getting assistance with over $1 million in federal funding to Northeast State Community College to continue helping its students with childcare expenses.A news release from the school says that a total of $1.1 million will flow into its Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) program that launched in 2018. The U.S. Department of Education administers the initiative to alleviate education barriers and help parents obtain a college degree or certificate.
