In the hope of having a safer facility, construction for a new transit bus garage is underway in Kingsport.The Kingsport Area Transit Service garage will hold 22 transit busses and vehicles.Leaders say it’s a $5.6 Million project made possible by federal and state funds. The current plan is to have the structure completed by next summer.
