The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office is stepping up efforts to enforce safe driving. A news release says the goal is to educate young drivers about the dangers of distracted driving and what the consequences are. Lieutenant Kevin Sanders says the driving behavior of someone on their phone is identical to someone who is intoxicated.
