Kingsport city schools have plans for a new interim superintendent, now that Dr. Jeff Moorhouse announced his retirement.Melissa Woods, board President, led a discussion Tuesday night explaining she will be working on behalf of the board to bring a proposed agreement to the October 11 th business meeting naming Dr. Chris Hampton as the KCS Interim Superintendent upon Dr. Moorhouse’s retirement, through the end of the 2022-23 fiscal year.
