A new mobile health clinic will soon expand access to primary and preventive health care services for rural communities in the Appalachian Highlands. According to a press release, beginning in September, Ballad Health’s new Community Mobile Health Clinic, is funded by the Ballad Health Foundation. The unit will provide general medical care and women’s health services. Patients will be seen regardless of insurance status.
