Doty Wins Greenville Mayor Race

Former Alderman Cal Doty has defeated incumbent W.T. Daniels in Greeneville’s mayoral race by a narroow margin of approximately 38 percent to 36 percent of the vote.Voters picked Doty over Daniels, who has been mayor since 2010, and former county mayor David Crum in the August general election. Doty was elected as an alderman in 2019, but stepped aside to run for mayor.
