Drivers are being reminded to understand kids can dart out in front of a car without notice as the school year begins and police are encouraging drivers to be aware of traffic safety.School zones will soon be strictly patrolled by Kingsport police, making sure drivers are obeying traffic laws. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, pay attention, and drive with caution.Tom Patton with Kingsport police said drivers should be extremely aware of parents and children.
