According to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, 15.9% of people in Northeast Tennessee are food insecure.With rising prices, Second Harvest Executive Director Rhonda Chafin says more people are asking for help.Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee is a member of the Feeding America network of food banks, and serves the 8 Tennessee counties of Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington.
