It’s the biggest pro-life victory in decades. The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe V Wade, the abortion rights law. In the majority opinion, written by Justice Samuel Alito, it says the court had ruled incorrectly in Roe and another case that bolstered abortion rights, Casey v. Planned Parenthood. Alito wrote Roe was “egregiously wrong” when it was decided.Liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kegan were in dissent. The ruling returns the power to states to decide on anti pro-life rights.
