There’s a new initiative in southwest Virginia giving second-chance opportunities for inmates in custody.When an inmate arrives to Wise Correctional Unit supperintendent Jessica King says an inmate’s time there will be productive. King says 88 inmates they currently house work the grounds’ greenhouses, garden sites, orchards, tilapia house, or are out in the community on maintenance projects.
