Something that’s been asked for is finally happening for Elizabethton soon having a new access point to the Watauga River under the Lynn Avenue Bridge.The project is a joint partnership between the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the city of Elizabethton and the Tennessee Valley Authority. It’s expected to open July 4th weekend.
