With expansion expected in Johnson City a major announcement has come from Food City as the grocery chain in Abingdon, VA is embarking into a new business.Food City CEO Steve Smith announced that Food City is launching a new line of Ace Hardware stores.They will operate under the name Curt’s Ace Hardware. Food City recently purchased Mize Farm and Garden in Gray and will transform it into the first Ace Hardware.
