As consumers feel the pinch of gas prices at the pump, non-profit agencies like Feeding Southwest Virginia are also in a bind with fuel costs.The agency has a fleet of vehicles to pick up and distribute food, and they have driven more than 20,000 miles this year serving 26 counties. Plus, Feeding Southwest Virginia has also seen an increase in families in need. The agency’s leaders say they are currently distributing food donated from the Midwest.
