Virginia lawmakers are looking to bring in state resources to help tackle the ongoing stench at the Bristol landfill.It is a multi-approach to remediate a lingering odor and potential environmental concerns.“Legislatively, we’ve tried to look at what we can do to allow the state to be of assistance to the city,” Del. Israel O’Quinn (R – Bristol) said. “The easiest way and the quickest way to do that is through budget language that would take effect both immediately and would also be in the upcoming two-year budget.”
