Child Support Bill

A new bill is getting attention across Tennessee.If approved, HB1866 would strip visitation rights from parents who have not paid child support for three years.House Republican Majority Whip Johnny Garrett says the idea behind the bill is to prioritize children.Democratic Representative Antonio Parkinson also chimed in on the bill, saying: “I agree that child support should be provided, but I also believe that time is the most important factor between a parent and a child.”
