Food City and Hormel Foods have partnered to make a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee.Through the program Hormel Hams for Hunger, the two companies donated $50,000 worth of hams to the food bank, as well as almost $4,000 in Food City gift cards.Second Harvest Executive Director Rhonda Chafin says the donations will help lots of families. She says 1,500 families will receive these hams and just the value in itself is an incredible donation.”
