Heads up in Washington County, Tennessee the Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of a scam going around the Tri-Cities.Officials have received multiple reports of someone calling people claiming to be a Washington County deputy and threatening to arrest the person they called to get the victim’s social security number or money.The sheriff’s office reminds citizens you will never be asked for money or have a warrant for arrest issued over the phone.
