Because of aging facilities, three Tennessee State Parks swimming pools in the Northeast part of the state will not be reopening. Officials say the pools not reopening include David Crockett Birthplace State Park, Roan Mountain State Park, and Warriors’ Path State Park.Other pools in East Tennessee that aren’t opening include Panther Creek State Park and Cove Lake State Park.Officials also say in addition to aging facilities high expensees are preventing the reopening of the pools, too.
