The Sustain Abingdon Committee and Keep Southwest Virginia Beautiful hosted an America Recycle Day over the weekend.It featured free on site e-waste recycling and document shredding. This year, they also accepted aluminum cans and cardboard.Donations like gently used clothes and shoes, non-perishable food, and supplies for the local animal shelter were also taken.
