Authorities in Bristol, Virginia, are investigating after a car slammed into an apartment building at a high rate of speed Tuesday morning. It all happened at Leisure Park Towers on Moore Street. The driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.Police say the vehicle that came down Moore Street, down the hill toward Scott, went through the intersection hit the railroad tracks there, they went airborne, came down through the health department parking lot. So far there are no charges.
