One person was killed and another was taken to a hospital following a crash in Unicoi County Tuesday morning, according to Sheriff Mike Hensley.According to Sheriff Hensley, a vehicle on Highway 107 near Limestone Cove Park went off the roadway and struck a tree head-on. The driver was taken to a hospital. A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.Those involved in the crash were from North Carolina.
