Beware Of Electric Shock Drowning

The Tennessee State Fire Marshall’s office says a public marina or dock could potentially lead to electric shock drowning if you are not careful. The SFMO is warning Tennessee to avoid any hazardous activities to keep this summer safe.Electric shock drowning could potentially occur when swimmers do not realize that the water they are swimming in has been electrified by a nearby power source such as a boat or a marina.
