Attorneys for the Haven of Mercy homeless shelter said they’ve dismissed a lawsuit against Johnson City’s Board of Dwellings Standards and Review in Washington County court. The city’s attorney said the board will pursue a new order to vacate.The board had ordered Haven of Mercy to close at a meeting in late January, citing more than 100 code and safety violations. City officials said they had tried to work with the ministry to resolve the issues for more than a year.
