Work continues on the prospects of establishing a whitewater park in Elizabethton. Research is underway on Surf Betsy, by the City of Elizabethton, Mainstreet of Elizabethton, MBA students from the ETSU College of Business, the Surf Betsy Advisory Board and our Parks and Recreation Department, who are reaching out to the public to get their input on the project.
