A bill making its way through the Tennessee General Assembly would allow the governor to order schools open for in-person learning.Right now, Shelby County is the only school district not offering an in-person learning option, according to the bill’s sponsor Sen. Brian Kelsey (R-Germantown).Until last week, Davidson County would’ve been included under this bill, but Metro Schools have since been given an in-person learning option and students are returning on a phased-in basis.
