A Johnson City man is arrested after police discover him in possession of a stolen handgun and drugs . Johnson City Police learned the whereabouts of Barry Jones of Johnson, who was staying at the Quality Inn Sunday. While searching the room, officers found Jones and Alma Cradic Bowers of Gate City in possession of two firearms..one which was stolen as well as possession of Methamphetamine for resale. Both Jones and Bowers were arrested and charged and were transported to the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center for Arraignment.
