Elizabethton Pub Bars Vote Set For Next Thursday

Next Thursday the Elizabethton City Council is holding a second reading on an ordinance that would allow so-called pub bars to operate in city limits. The establishments would serve beer, cider and wine but not any liquor or other spirits. There would be no food served at the pub bars. The Star reports the council is holding a public workshop session next Wednesday to discuss the ordinance before the vote.
