Search Continues in the Smokies for Missing Ohio Woman

More than 30 agencies and 125 people were searching an area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park after an Ohio woman went missing last week.

53-year old Mitzi Clements and her daughter became separated on Tuesday while hiking near Clingmans Dome.

Saturday was the first good weather day for searchers, who had been hampered by rain, fog, wind, and chilly, 40 degree temperatures.

Helicopters, multiple canine teams, and specialized search and rescue drones are all assisting in the search.
