Annual Tri-Cities Heart Walk Moved Due to Rain Threat

The annual Tri-Cities Heart Walk is being moved indoors due to the threat of bad weather this afternoon.
The walk, originally scheduled to be on the campus of ETSU, will now be inside The Mall at Johnson City.

The festival gets underway at 130, the walk starts at 3. Those attending are being asked to use the entrance closest to Forever 21.

The American Heart Association, the organization behind the walk, hopes to raise more than $160,000 in donations. The money goes to support the AHA’s efforts to improve community health.
