Informant Sex Trial Set For November

(ABINGDON) – An agent with the Virginia State Police faces charges in a case that truly involves sex…lies…and photographic evidence.

Special agent, Shade Workman has vehemently claimed innocence and has pled not guilty. Workman is accused by Justice Department investigators with having sex with an informant…this while the Agent In Charge of a Tazewell County Drug Enforcement Team.

Workman is also tasked to answer to accusations he made a deal with the informant to destroy nude photographs of her, sent to him by cell phone, in an effort to hide evidence. Several informants, all undercover, have testified against Workman, this as a jury trial is set for November 13th, in a federal courtroom.
