Educational Bragging Rights In Tennessee

Northeast Tennessee has some educational bragging rights. Karen Johnson has details.

In a newly released study by U.S. News and World report some of the best high schools are in the area, Dobyns-Bennett High School, Greeneville High School, and Science Hill High School all received silver medal recognition, the second highest honor possible. According to the report, University School is the 14th ranked high school in the state of Tennessee, Dobyns-Bennett is 16th, Greeneville is 23rd and Science Hill is 24th. The report factors in enrollment, graduation rate, test scores and more. After putting all those together, University School and Dobyns-Bennett both placed in the top-10 percentile nationwide.
